The University Press Halle-Wittenberg
The University Press/Publisher was founded as an independent company in 2009. It is lead economically independent from but upon consultation with the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg.
The University Press oriented substantially towards the research profils of the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg. Of Course, publications from authors and editors who are not members of the University are also possible. The University Press/Publisher is interested in all kinds of scientific publications like series, monographs, anthologies and proceedings.
The concept of publishing is based on three pillars: content quality, quality of equipment tags/high-valued features of the books, extraordinary service
The University Press only publishes outstanding qualification works and scientific papers. Dissertations must have been graded with summa cum laude or magna cum laude in order to be added in our program. Basically, all submitted manuscripts are surveyed by the scientific council. The Company is bound to the council’s vote.
High-Quality Equipment of the Books
All books, which are published by the University Press, are set by highly-qualified experts. Therefore, a high-valued appearance is guaranteed which is emphasized by slightly yellow paper that is easy on the eyes and pleasant to touch.
The University Press/Publisher cares for the setting and all prepress preparations of the manuscript. That means authors do not have to care for technical details but submit only a complete manuscript in electronic form. In addition, the University Press provides a broad-measured number of free copies for its authors.
